Description

Puff pastry pinwheels filled with fig and goat cheese make a delicious appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup fig preserves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the goat cheese evenly over the pastry.
  4. Spread the fig preserves on top of the goat cheese.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
