Description

A rich and gooey dessert made in a slow cooker that combines chocolate brownies with a molten lava center.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased slow cooker.
  5. Pour boiling water over the batter (do not stir).
  6. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours until set.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
