Description
Tender beef cooked slowly with Korean flavors.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve with green onions and sesame seeds on top.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
