Description
A refreshing and nutrient-packed Tropical Pineapple Banana Smoothie Bowl, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup coconut milk (canned or carton)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2 cup granola (for topping)
Instructions
- Peel the ripe bananas and chop them into smaller pieces. Cut the fresh pineapple into chunks, removing the core and skin.
- In a blender, combine the chopped bananas, fresh pineapple, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and chia seeds. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie base and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter. Blend again briefly to mix.
- Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl, smoothing the top with a spoon.
- Drizzle some coconut milk and honey on top for added sweetness and a glossy finish. Sprinkle the granola evenly over the top of the smoothie bowl. For an extra tropical touch, you can add additional slices of banana or pineapple on top, along with a sprinkle of chia seeds.
Notes
- Store any leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
- Reheating is not recommended; consider freezing the smoothie base in ice cube trays for later use.
