Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough into 6-8 balls and place on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
