- 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ⅛ tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough into 6-8 balls and place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
