- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.
Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then mix in mashed bananas.
Add wet ingredients: Stir in egg and vanilla extract.
Combine dry ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
