Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
  • Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then mix in mashed bananas.
  • Add wet ingredients: Stir in egg and vanilla extract.
  • Combine dry ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
