Deep Fried Marshmallows

These deep fried marshmallows are crispy on the outside and gooey inside—an easy, nostalgic dessert perfect for parties or cozy treats.

- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups buttermilk pancake mix
- 1 package large marshmallows
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Optional toppings: powdered sugar melted chocolate, sprinkles, cinnamon sugar
Freeze marshmallows for 30 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla. Stir in pancake mix until smooth; rest 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375°F (190°C).
Skewer and dip each frozen marshmallow in batter.
Fry 25–30 seconds per side until golden.
Drain on paper towels and garnish with toppings while warm.
