Ingredients
  

For the Custard:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the French Toast:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls split in half
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh berries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Make Custard: Whisk eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  • Soak Rolls: Dip each roll half in the custard for 10–15 seconds.
  • Cook: Pan-fry in butter over medium heat, 2–3 mins per side until golden.
