- 4 large egg whites room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 small box 3 oz Jello powder (any flavor)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Optional toppings: sprinkles edible glitter, colored sugar
Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
In a clean bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar with an electric mixer on medium until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating on high speed until stiff, glossy peaks form.
Stir in Jello powder until fully incorporated and vibrant.
Pipe or spoon meringue onto baking sheets, spaced about 1 inch apart.
Bake for 1.5 - 2 hours until dry to the touch. Turn off the oven and let cool inside for at least 1 hour.
Store in an airtight container.
