Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mini heart pans.
  • Whisk together dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) in a bowl.
  • Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into heart-shaped pans and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool, then decorate with frosting or toppings of choice.
