Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then add to wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies gently.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
