- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup warm whole milk
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¾ cup strawberry preserves
- ½ cup crushed shortbread cookies
- ½ cup diced fresh strawberries optional
- Drizzle: powdered sugar + milk or white chocolate glaze optional
Make Dough: Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let foam. Add flour, salt, egg, butter, and vanilla. Knead and let rise 1 hour.
Prepare Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Assemble Rolls: Roll out dough, spread cheesecake mix, add preserves and crumbs. Roll up and slice.
Second Rise & Bake: Place in dish, rise 30–40 mins. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 mins.
Finish: Top with more crumbs and drizzle with glaze if desired.
